Sylvester Migunga
Sylvester is a co-founder of Migunga Adventure Tours & Safaris. He has summitted Kilimanjaro more than 50 times, and guided safaris for more than a decade.
An expert of adventure and traveling, Sylvester have been one of the most successful adventure specialist in the tourism and safari industry in Tanzania & East Africa. He was born and raised on the shores of Lake Victoria, the world second largest fresh water lake.
His guiding skills have been curved right from child hood when he was captain of the scouts team during his primary, secondary and high school time. He could organize and arrange for environmental conservation exercises with and around the school with his scouting team. With his leadership skills besides good sense of humor, he perfectly and successfully guided safaris for over ten years in both Tanzania and Kenya. Traveling with him totally make your safari or climb adventurous, fun and memorable leaving you longing for the next trip. At high school he was a leader chairman of Wildlife Club and regularly organized soil erosion prevention and tree planting activities. Very cautious on environment he constantly keeps advising people on the benefits of conserving nature for posterity.

Maria Ornberg
Maria is an adept skier always out in the snows enjoying the low altitude skiing resorts in northern Sweden. A safari lover, she is always in Tanzania scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro or on safari escorting clients as trip leader. Maria loves animals, beaches and scenery.
With her good organization and leadership skills she gained reputation in leading smaller and bigger groups on holiday to Tanzania showcasing the best of Tanzania. You can easily confuse her for Maasai woman when she is typical Maasai gown milking the cow, grinding sorghum for porridge or on a stone grinder. Her mastery of the local Swahili language has made her admired by everyone whereby she goes and it has been easy for her to match and mix in whenever part of Tanzania she ventures into.

Simon Mayunga
A former government trained mountain game ranger and guide on Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru, Simon has been very vital on all our mountain climbing expedition. He has climbed Kilimanjaro for over 100 times summiting in all his climbs. Our clients say that he is very kind, caring, and analytical and will take all precautions to make sure that all trekking member reaches the summit. His involvement on any climbing trips starts from proposing the routes, making sure all climbing equipments are in place and selecting the best climbing crew ( porters). He prepares c clients on how to prepare psychologically for successful and enjoyable Kilimanjaro climb. Simon has the best skills on flora and fauna besides knowledge on geological rock formation on Kilimanjaro and its adjacent plains.

Jonas Jonathan
A co-founder and wildlife expert, Jonas is always on the move making sure that clients on holiday get the best adventure, unique and unfolding in its own way. He will be in Tarangire National park for lunch with one group and in the evening sharing hot dinner with another group at a lodge or tent on the ngorongoro highlands. He makes sure that drivers are well updated, informed and trained on technical skills like handling clients, He loves making sure that cars are well maintained, the tents are in good order, each and every program is unique in itself. He will be there when unexpected happens with lots of flexibilities and solution and only rests when all is done and successful.
With 26yrs guiding experience he is always busy collecting ever bit of information enabling us develop new holiday programs and destinations, revitalizing the old itineraries making them more interesting and enjoyable. Good is animal and birds sporting during game drive, Jonas will detect the existence of an animal just even its smell. “Looks interesting”.

Hulder David
Hulder David has a good reputation, both with her clients and with the camps and lodges she adores. An unashamed East African fanatic, She has joined Migunga adventure Tours & Safaris as Reservations in Charge. Hulder is a people person, and spends an awful lot of time on the phone and email where she is always in contact with the lodges, hotels and camps that our clients use. When we can drag her away from the receiver, she shoots off on fact-finding quality inspection of the accommodation facilities in the parks.
