6 Days/5 Night Jambiani Tour

Arrival Zanzibar met and welcomed by the Indian Ocean Magic Tours Staffs. Transfer to Hotel. Check in and briefing on the program. Free for leisure, dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast at 8:30am depart from Hotel for long City Tour. This tour takes you around the historic old city. It starts from Zanzibar central market which was opened in 1904. Here you will see and buy a variety of the tropical fruits and spices then proceed to the Anglican cathedral built by bishop steers in 1874 exactly on the site of the former slave market. You will then visit to National museums of Zanzibar commonly known as peace memorial museums, British consulate, Old fort, house of wonders or locally as “Beit –El- Ajaib” You will then visit Dr Livingstone House before going to maruhubi palace ruins built by sultan barghash in 1880.

12:30pm, lunch at Mtoni Marine Park before proceeding to kizimbani spice plantations for spice tour.

The stay in Zanzibar will be incomplete without this famous tour. In Kizimbani spice plantation you can see, touch and sometime taste a wide variety of spices, fruits, herbs and ornamental plants and flowers, this is the cheapest place to purchase spices and spice oils.

In late afternoon, return to Hotel. For dinner and overnight.

Day 3

The programme starts at 8:30am in the morning traveling toward south to Jozani Forest Reserve on the way at bungi visit Bikhole ruins and listen to her romantic stories. The guided tour at Jozani forest Reserve will enable you to see Zanzibar red colubus monkey, bush babies and many other species of flora and fauna. Walk through the mongroove boardwalk. Not the prawn while on the boardwalk.

At 12:30pm, a Journey back to town for lunch will start, an opulent lunch will be at sundowner restaurant (Mbweni Ruins Hotel) off Zanzibar stone town, and you will then transfer back to hotel for leisure, dinner and overnight.

Days 4 & 5

2 day visit to be spent for cultural tour and beach relaxation on the East coast of Zanzibar, You will start this tour on a local fisher boat (Ngalawa) in a lagoon north of Bwejuu which offers fine snorkeling grounds on the reef. Later we will have local lunch at nearby hotel.

You will then visit Jambiani fishing villages where you can visit and meet villagers working in different professions. Such as herbalists, visit to a local organically plantation on coral stone, where farmers cultivate under difficult circumstances, and seaweed farms run by women. A good chance to learn about the unique culture and diverse environment of Zanzibar’s village and to meet the friendly waswahili people. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 6

Transfer to the Airport or harbor for departure..
